| I have a Gen 3 22 that I am thinking about trading for a Gen 3 19. I don't shoot the 22 very well. I just bought a 17 that I shoot much better. I am thinking that the 19 would carry better and having only 9 mm to buy would be nice. Part of me is reluctant for some reason and I don't know why. So in my situation, what would you guys do? |

Just got back. I am now the proud owner of a Gen 3 19. Not in love with the cramped finger grooves. I think a mag with the extender on it may help. Can't wait to get out and shoot it. Thats why I kept looking till I found a deal on a gen 2 19. Good trade you will be very happy. |

Congratulations, the 19 will grow on you. Try a Hogue rubber grip or even better a pair of the softer Talon Grips. Makes a world of difference in the grip. |

BTW, you can get a 17 trigger bar with smooth trigger face if you prefer it. It's the same size. I do it to all my 19's. Just a thought. |
