I had a Gen 4 G19 that I loved but I traded it on impulse because it ejected erratically and occasionally hit me in the forehead.  I regret selling it and want another glock but I am not sure if I should get another G19 or maybe a G17.  I know this question has been beaten to death but has the ejection issue been fixed in new Gen 4 glocks yet?  I have researched it a lot and some people say yes, others say they are done with glock forever, and now some are saying their glock was fixed but started ejecting horribly again after a 1000 rounds.  And my last question is does anyone know who might have the most recent batches of gen 4's online?  If I do buy one I don't want to get stuck with some overstock model a dealer got stuck with from last year.

Thanks in advance.

I would stay as far away from the Gen 4 Glocks as you can....I have never heard or seen so much chatter over one generation of gun...

I stated with Glocks in 1990, had as many as 8 at one time....sold them all over the years and moved to Sig's and HK's...started buying Glocks again last year and settled on the Gen 3's as they most resemble the ones I had before....in terms of internal parts and function.

I cannot understand why Glock had to go a mess up a good thing......

My Gen 3 Glock 19's, 21SF and 26 all shoot fantastic, just as the ones in 1990 did.

I've had/been issued Glocks since 1990. My new favorite is my Gen 4 G19.  All of the Glocks I've ever shot have thrown a case at me now and then, especially the 9mms, so I don't get all butt hurt over it.

I would not be leary about getting one.
