[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Interchangable trigger/ trigger bar from G19 to G17

I own a G 17 for HD and would like to purchase a G 19 for CCW. The only part I don't care for on the G 19 is the vertical serration on the trigger. Would it be possible to buy a G 17 trigger / trigger bar and put it in place of the G 19 trigger ? Or is there a manufacturer that make a G 19 trigger without serrations ?

You can buy a 17 trigger and install it.

Yes, it can be done. I always switch out the serated trigger for the smooth one. I've done this on my two G19's and my G30.

To echo what's been said, I always change out the trigger bar on my 19's with a 3rd gen 17 trigger bar (no bump on the 3rd gens)

They are interchangeable. Only different if the G19 is Pre-EH Serial Prefix, IIRC.

I ordered one for my 19 from brownells a few weeks ago. Installed and functions/fires with no issues. It wasn't very much either. I think it was less than $25
