I bought a Stormlake threaded Barrel for my Glock 34 and I can't get it to function right in my gun. I get jams, Stovepipes, and failure to feeds all the time. I need a new threaded barrel for my gun and I was reading that Glock sold barrels but I can't seem to find them.
Where can I get a Factory threaded Glock barrel ? |
| I have seen Glock factory threaded barrels for the 19 and 17, haven't seen them as often for the 34. One option you have is to buy a factory 17L barrel and send it out to have it threaded by a place like Tornado Technologies. The advantage here is that you get a factory barrel AND you get your choice of thread pitch. Glock factory threaded means you'd be stuck with metric, not necessarily a bad thing, but if you already have suppressors with 1/2x28 threads you won't have to buy new pistons. |

Lone wolf sells Glock factory barrels. http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=725144&CAT=56 Just use the drop down box to select 17L. If you want one for the 34, you will have to buy the 17L which is a 6" barrel that can be cut and threaded for your 34 as there is enough extra barrel sticking out past the slide. |

Have you contacted storm lake to see if maybe you have a tight chamber or possibly a defective barrel? I did last week and did not get a response but last night I got a return shipping label so I am sending it in to see what they find. Good to know report back on how the CS takes care of the situation. Also what final resolution is. |

Good to know report back on how the CS takes care of the situation. Also what final resolution is. I talked to them on friday and they are removing the black coating and sending it back to me. I hope the solves the problem. It sucks I paid extra for the finish and waited over 2 months to get the barrel cause of the finish and now it is getting removed. I forgot to add. I bought a lonewolf threaded barrel and it has been going flawless. I will post up when I get the SL barrel back and in the gun. |
