Good replacement sights from factory (I hate factory sights on the Glock)? For both daylight and illuminated for night. This topic is probably beaten into the ground, but its for a G23, my carry. What do you guys recommend? Also what would I expect to pay, both for a set (front/rear) and separately about what a gunsmith charges?

I like Trijicons and Meprolights. Lots of people have positive things to say about the Truglo TFOs too, though I don't own any. Glock factory night sights are good to go. Seems like a new set of Trijicons on the EE or from Brownells (w/ discount) is about $80-85. Meprolights should be about that or less.

Gunsmith charges to install will vary, of course, but I would think no more than $20. But, sights on a Glock are really easy to install yourself. If you think you're ever going to need to install a rear sight more than a few times, you should go ahead and get your own sight pusher and front sight install tool.

I've got 10-8 sights on order, brass bead front and .140 U notch rear in plain black.  I really like the 10-8 setup.

Ameriglo makes some sights that don't require a pusher.  They also include a front sight tool with their sights.  Takes about five minutes to install.

I've got the Ameriglo Pro Operators on my Glock 19.  Green front with subdued yellows on the rear!

Trijicon.  Don't care for Mepro as the rear notch is too narrow for the front sight. $85-90 installed.

I've got Mepro Trudot's on both my Glock and really like them. Really bright and they have a white outline around the tritium so they're really easy to pick up in the daylight.

Been doing some research on this topic as well for myself and I'm leaning towards the Trijicon HD w/ orange front.

I run a set of Warren Tactical (can't remember the technical term but i-dot/straight 8) Night Sights on my G17 which is my EDC and absolutely love them.

I am debating between Ameriglo's Pro Operators, or the Trijicon HD's w/ the orange outline.

Did Glock just come out with new night sights?  Seems I saw one with a bar/dot type of configuration.  I could very well be mistaken.  I will try and find link.

I have XS express sights on mine. I think I like the smaller dot better than the big dot. Either way they are very fast and the front sight always grabs my attention. They sacrifice a small bit of precision for the speed but you can still be plenty accurate for a fighting handgun.

Anyone have the T.A.S. Glock sights?

What the hell are these, and how do they work?  Do you not use a front sight with it?

Anyone have them?  It seems like a red dot principle applied to a pistol?

I kinda want one, but I am confused as to how the fuck they work?

I think it is something like, once you are lined up right the green glow will show. I remember seeing them a while back on another forum. Not very popular though as I have never seen any body use them. Hey, kinda like Obamacare again...

Another hell yes for these, just replaced my old trijicons with these and they are definitely better and it really helps to draw your eye to the front sight like it should.

Si I think I like the Trijicons.  3 questions though

The Trijicon HD sights w/ the orange outline (GL101O,) say the fit Glock#'s  Fits Glocks: 17, 19, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 33, 24, 35, 38, and 39.

But do they fit the Glock 34?

Second is the orange or yellow brighter/better?

And are the Mepro's really that much BRIGHTER than the Trijicons?

I like the Tru glo TFO sights on my glock, brighter than Trijicons and glock night sights and like having fiber optic sights in the day.

My blushing bride gave me a set of Trijicons for a G20 for a wedding gift, the marriage lasted 17 years, but the Trijicons outlived it.
Put a set of Meprolights on a G32 and the front tube wouldn't have made it past the honeymoon.
For what it's worth...
