| I've had a 9mm conversion barrel for my G22 for some time and haven't shot it because I've been too lazy to buy a 9mm magazine. I finally said screw it and shot it anyway. The piece of shit malfunctioned about once or twice in each magazine. I'm kidding, of course, it is a testament to the voracious appetite of the Glock that it actually worked most of the time with a slide, recoil spring, and magazine designed for a different cartridge. I can't wait to play with the Korean 33rd mag. |

Yeah but if I read his post right he used a .40 mag. This is correct. I'm really surprised how well it worked. Obviously not reliable enough for defense but only slightly annoying on the range. I bought a Kahn mag and look forward to testing it. I didn't know they were the same recoil spring. |

My LW 9mm conversion barrel has proven to be reliable enough to carry. It has never, ever, missed a shot. Dave N Same here!!!! +1 I carry my G27 with the conversion barrel & G26 magazines with compete confidence and over 2K rounds through it with no problems. I still don't know whether this is the norm, or if I have an uncommonly good setup, so you need to establish your own history and comfort level with your particular setup. YMMV. |
