Are there any internal differences in the gen 2.5 and gen 3?

I'm specifically curious about the g30. I know the outside has RFT2 and finger grooves but no rail, what I'm concerned about is operational differences.

The earlier G30 may have a 4256 trigger bar. They later introduced the 4256-1 trigger bar to eliminate some light primer strike issues. The 30 now uses a 4256-1- trigger bar, the only difference is that it sits lower in the frame to eliminate a problem in the most recent production G30SF's where the trigger bar and slide rub together. The regular 4256-1 trigger bar should work just fine, I wouldn't change it.

I don't know when the ejectors were changed, but the most recent ejector for 10mm/45 is marked 8196-2.

Even early Gen3 G30's didn't have a rail. It was added somewhere in the middle of Gen3.
