| I have been avoiding the "plastic gun" for years, a few days ago I finally gave and purchased a gen3 G34. I am proud to say I couldn't be happier, I wish I would have looked more seriously at the Glock lineup years ago. I have a sub compact 9 for carry, a .45 and .357 for anything requiring more firepower and a .22 pistol for plinking, the void that I needed filled was a larger bore, higher capacity plinking gun. I decided on a Glock after countless hours of internet research and shooting a friends G17 and tearing down and shooting another friends G23. I was impressed with the Glocks simplicity, ease of use and maintenance, I was also surprised to find out that they were fairly accurate for a "plastic" gun! Now I had my mind made up on a Glock I just had to figure out which model, since I had no need for another carry gun and it's primary job would be target shooting and plinking with my buddies I wanted the longest sight radius possible so finally settled on the economical 9mm and the G34 gave me the additional length I desired. I have only put a couple of boxes through it at this point but love it so far! Looking forward to many years and many thousands of rounds with this gun! |

Welcome! Now go pick up some 33rd mags for it! Good idea, except this thing is gobbling up enough ammo with the two 17 round mags that came with it! I wouldn't be able to afford feeding it if I had some 33's! Thanks everyone! I have to say I really like this gun, very accurate, minimal recoil, overall very fun gun to shoot! |
