just installed it.  already had LW 3.5 connector.  tested, hated it.  almost vomited.  uninstalled it immediately.

trigger pull was super heavy, would not recommend it.

What kind of trigger pull are you looking for?

The NY-1 spring with a factory 4.5 connector gives a very nice, constant pressure, 6.5 pound trigger press with a fast reset. KY State Police use this set up.

The NY springs with the standard connector do nothing but satisfy lawyers and out-of-touch-with-reality administrators.

IF the LW connector produced a heavy trigger pull, then something was wrong.  I use aftermarket connectors in my Glocks.  Don't care for a revolver-like (NY) spring in my Glocks.  I do use aftermarket connectors, including LW connectors, and my Glocks all pull from just over 3# to just under 4#.

If your trigger got heavier with the NY-1 spring and the 3.5 connector (which should be the equivalent of the factory "-" connector), something's not right. Are you sure you got the NY-1 and not the NY-2? IIRC (I've never dealt with the NY springs much and my manuals are at work), the NY-1 is olive drab and the trigger pull with standard connector (see below for this spring with the "-" connector) should be around 8 lbs. The NY-1, again IIRC, is orange and, with the standard connector, should make about a 12lb trigger.

My last armorer's class, we got to try out the NY-1 spring with the "-" connector. After years of failing to recognize this combo as a valid, factory-spec option, Glock has chosen to recognize it and, according to the instructor, was considering it as a factory option. Trigger pull was about the same weight as the standard trigger spring and connector but was a little more distinct and reset was INCREDIBLY POSITIVE! The thing clicked so loud that you'd be able to hear it even with ringing ears from shooting! Another advantage, according to the instructor, is that, should the NY-1 spring break, the gun should still run, as long as you don't let the trigger out past the reset point. I am considering ordering the parts and putting it in my Glocks, I liked it so much.

Let us know what color spring you have. If you have the NY-2, it would make a heavy, abominable trigger. The NY-1 combined with the 3.5 connector should be about like the factory trigger, maybe a little stiffer and with a MUCH MORE DEFINED reset. Could also be an issue with the Lone Wolf connector, as in it may not have the same geometry as the factory "-" connector. Let us know.

If you want to try something different, remove the center metallic spring from the NY1 trigger spring and use the - connecter.

NOTE: Since this isn't a Glock recommended modification, I wouldn't use it for duty.

I tried the "-" connector with NY1 spring for a while. Lots of people really like it. I didn't. Stock spring and connector for me.

I also tried this set-up, it was nice but just wasn't for me. I've put the stock connector and spring back in, though I do like it with a stock connector and competition spring, and really like the "-" and competition spring just not as my carry gun. When I evetually build my competition 17 it will have the "-"and and comp spring...
