So awhile back I had asked what my fellow Glockamanics thought about the 27, 36, & 30sf as carry pieces. A few mentioned the 23 so I spent some time looking for an od model 23. I didn't find one that wasn't marked up enough to pay off the debt limit increase our Dear Leader is asking for. Anyways I go into my local fun store and didn't get a good feel on the mid size gen 3 frame, the 36, nor the 30sf, but, I couldn't help loving the gen4 g23 looking up at me. Factory night sights, check. 3 mags, check. $450 plus fees, check. BOD of 30DEC2012. Probably only finger fugged by a few people, too. Anyone know anyone that wants a G27 Gen 4 ?

| Thought about the keeping the 27 thing, but i dunno. I never really felt too comfortable shooting it. But, that could be from lack of practice on my part as I'm used to full size Glocks. It just kinda felt too short in the grip. It was more of an impulse buy. CC permit came in the mail and I went and got it and was home within an hour with it. Great gun, it may grow on me. I've only put 60 rounds of a mix of TAP and Gold Dots through it, it just needs some more range time I guess. If not it will do well in someone else's hands. |
| I almost got a second G21 when I was in there the other day. They had a G21SF RTF2 with factory night sights!! I almost pissed myself! I understand these to be quite rare snd i was actuslly a little nervous just holding the thing. Alas, I love getting along with my wife more than I like breaking the bank. She really is great though, let me get a NIB OD G22 for Christmas and now the 23 for my birthday. Ya, marriage is bliss. |
