She's a looker..........I hear Glock Factory Threaded Barrels are hard to come by??   Needs a protector on the end but otherwise squared away!

What is your opinion of the Skimmer trigger? Do you have another Glock to compare the trigger too? Does it just lighten the pull, or does it also remove all the take up before the break?

Can you tell I am wrestling the thought of buying this?

The take up is alot less about 1/16 inch.. lighter pull shorter pull and reset. everything is smooth and crips.. i play with glocks all the time light years better than a factory trigger..  and yea i have a thread protector on the way. Factory glock threaded barrels are easy to get ahold of

Nice pistol.  Not to hi-jack, but I also have a Skimmer. It reduces the reset, and is really really smooth, smoother than my trigger after 2000 rounds.  It does not lighten the pull though.

What is the purpose of the reference notch on the trigger guard?

It is a repeatable place for you to "roll" your support hand up onto the pistol to acquire your master grip.

Some people love it, some people hate it, i find it unnecessary.  To each their own. :)

I know how maritime spring cups work.  What's their purpose on this particular G19?

They were like 20 buck why not.. no real purpose.. other than im trying out frog lube and may throw it in water to see how the stuff holds up

Thanks.  Thought you might have some kind of submarine use for your G19.  The marine cups aren't as durable as "standard" cups.  I can't imagine that Frog Lube would be equal or superior to Mobil 1, 15W50!!!

for the two w/skimmer triggers, are they worth the cost, ie, would you do it again?

I've got a skimmer. I noticed the reduction in pretravel but not a reduction in overtravel/shorter reset. Is that a feature of it? I haven't shot it too much yet.

What did you use to cut the reference notch? I've been considering doing this as well.

a dremel to cut the notch, then sanded it with various grip paper... I shot the fuck out of this thing this weekend... Im selling my M&P and buying a Gen4 17
