| So I have some extra cash laying around and have decided to get another Glock. Currently own a 21 that I hardly ever use, and in the past have owned a 17 and 19. But now I think that I want to get a Glock 22, specifically a Gen 4 as it will be used with a tac light for home defense/truck gun. From reading around heard issues with Gen 3 22s having tac lights on them and malfunctions. So how are the Gen 4s doing and any improvements to the recoil of the. 40 Cal? Also heard of some issues when the Gen 4 Glocks when they first came out, don't remember what they were, but have they been resolved? |

Also heard of some issues when the Gen 4 Glocks when they first came out, don't remember what they were, but have they been resolved? the problem with the lights and malfunctions came from people over-tightening them. We were taught at the armoring school to tighten the lights with a paperclip. I have 2 Gen4's a G23 and a G27 and have had zero issues with both. The recoil (snap) seems less, enough that my step-son's gf who has no shooting experience shot my G27 very well. |
