I picked up a Gen 2 19 at the gunshow.The frame and bbl #'s match, but the slide has an S51xx on it.
Never saw numbers like this.It is factory,but replacement maybe?

Dunno. My Gen 2 G19 was supposed to have been a police gun that went back to Glock to be refurbished, thus the different slide/barrel numbers.

factory replacement would be my guess because thats not a normal serial # prefix

The serial # on my Gen 3 G17 replacement slide starts with an "S" also.

I wouldn't worry about it. A Gen 2 G19 in any condition would get my attention.
As others have said, most likely a factory refinish.
