Did Glock ever make a Glock 17 RTF2 with the standard slide serrations, not the fish gills. I have a Glock 19 RTF2 with the standard slide serrations. There are Glock 31, 22, 23, and 19's with the RTF2 and the regular/standard slide serrations, but I have never seen a Glock 17 RTF2 with the regular slide serrations.
I really enjoy the RFT2 frame and I am disappointed that they discontinued the frame for the dumbed down Gen4 grip. I was in an LEO Glock Armorers class and they said they would make the RTF2 guns at the request of a department, but it would have to be a large order. My wish list would be a standard Glock 21 RFT2. I know they made a limited run of the SF's, but I have heard the grip isn't as abrasive as the 22/17 frames. I have never been a fan of the SF's and I have very small hands. I have trained with my PD with a Glock 21 for 5 1/2 years and this is my favorite Glock of all time. I am geting a Glock 20 soon to compliment my 21. |
