My son has a Glock 21C. He likes the gun but would like the option of using it as a field gun. The compensator barrel needs to be replaced with an uncompensated model. I have seen stock units going for about $150.00 but wondered if there were barrels out there at a more reasnable price.

Thanks, NAV

Get a KKM.  That is a reasonable price.  If you are lucky, you may find a used one cheaper, but the quality is first rate.  (If they make a 21 bbl, that is)

$150 is the going price for a Glock factory barrel and it is a good price for a barrel that will most likely outlive its owner.

+1  Glock has a first generation model 17 9mm with several million riunds through it!!!!!!  100+ a day since the late 80's.  The gun itself shows little or no wear and tear and almost never jams also it has never been worked on and I understand is seldom cleaned!!!!!

My now-close indoor shooting range has a rental Glock 17 that has gone 750,000 rounds, and the original slide cracked at 500,000.
