This may be a stupid question, but can you get a glock with a flat dark earth frame or is that something that you need to have done after purchase?

Glock offered some colored frames as an option, but iirc, they have all been discontinued.

No, I just bought an OD green one at a gun shop NIB a couple of weeks ago. You can find them on Gun Broker new and used, and on here in the EE. Just look around and don't get in a hurry. Also, don't pay more for an OD than you would a black one.

The only other color Glock offered other than black was OD... and they're now discontinued. If you want FDE, you're going to have to do it yourself regardless.
