| I've got a line on a G21SF with the picatinny rail, always liked the look of that model and understand they are somewhat scarce. I've got a backup 2nd gen G21 circa 1993 that I would be selling to finance the newer G21, my question is should I? I'm relaitvely new to Glocks and don't know the history of the pic railed model, when were they produced and anyone know roughly how many? I've read that they have issues, I've also read they are issue free? Any owners here who could offer some insight? What say the Glock experts? |
| I picked up a Glock 21SF with a pic rail and really like it at first. As I put some rounds through the pistol I found the magazine release required a substantially increasing amount of pressure to drop the mag. Eventually the mag wouldn't drop unless I stripped it from the pistol while pressing the mag release. There is a reason they will swap out the frame and discontinued the pistol. Either stick with what you have or go with the 21SF with Glock rail. |
