Ordered a 29sf today, it will be my first glock. I've shot a lot of them but never really cared for the triggers, however I love the fact that I
can get 11 rounds of 10mm in such a small package. I plan on sending it to Robar guns for a trigger job some frame stippling and night sights.

Welcome to the club! I had a G20 that I foolishly let go last year. The 10mm is nothing but pure, raw, power when fed a proper diet. Enjoy and be sure to post pics of the stippling job.

I've had a 29 since they first came out and it's been with me ever since.  I'm contemplating a G29sf, but haven't decided yet, it fits my hand pretty well as is.

Congrats, you're gonna love it!
I like mine much more than my G20c, and I shoot it better too.

Pierce extensions and a Hogue rubber grip is what I ran mine with.
The G29 is my favorite Glock...

Great gun.  I crono'd some loads yesterday with my G29sf and my G20sf with a 6" barrel and lonewolf slide.  I was impressed with the performance of the G29 length barrel.  While it gave up quite a bit of velocity it is still an amazingly powerful weapon.

But damn, the blast out of that short barrel can be something else.  135 grain Nosler JHPs in front of a stout charge of 800x created something like a concussion grenade.

G29 can take 15 round G20 mags.

I'd like to have one of these too. Used to have a G20.

Your getting a trigger job? Why? Glocks have light, reliable, repeatable triggers.

Consider a .40 barrel if you really plan on shooting a lot and not reloading. It will pay for itself in 1 to 2 K rounds depending how much you spend on the barrel. You use the same recoil spring and mags.

.40 or light 10mm loads kick like a soft 9mm from the fat framed Glock.

Enjoy the versatility. Get some 15 round mags.
