Any fellow armorers know or remember if there is any significance of the small number on the extractors?  I noticed my well used 21SF has a small chip on the extractor.  I have two other extractors in my Glock parts bins.  They have the number "3" and "11" on them.   The original extractor has a "10" on it.  I see no visual differences between the extractors other than the small raised number.   My manuals are at work and I'm at home.      I replaced the chipped extractor with the "11" one and put 70 rounds through it with no problems.

If anyone has any input, thanks in advance!

I believe the numbers your seeing on your original and replacement Factory extractors is the original casting-mold numbers, depending on the age of manufacture.  As long are your replacement is correct for the model and seems to be working fine, I wouldn't sweat it further.  Good luck.

The small numbers are either tool numbers (which cavity produced the part) or revision numbers.  On an extractor, I'm almost positive that is just a cavity number. Zero significance to you unless you want to know which part of the mold produced it.

Thank you gentlemen!  I was kind of guessing something like that, but I wasn't sure.  Once again, thanks!
