| So my question is the following if i wanted to start shooting 9mm through my G23 all i have to do is put in a G19 barrel and mag. Or are there any other changes that need to be made. I know about the Lone Wolf 40-9 barrel but whats the difference between the 40-9 barrel and a regular G19 barrel? |

The outside diameter of the .40 barrel is larger to accommodate the larger round... the conversion barrel as the external dimensions of the .40 barrel but is chambered in 9mm. You can't use a regular 9mm barrel in a .40 slide. |

Very Important! ––- You need a 9mm CONVERSION barrel for the G23. A standard Glock 19 barrel will not work. I use a Wolff 40-9 conversion barrel in my G23 with G19 mags and have fired about 500 rounds through it with no malfunctions. The barrel lock up is tight at first, but the more you shoot it the more it loosens up as with any new machined part. The Wollf barrels run about $100
