[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Gen 4 Glock extraction?

It seems a bit strange. The rounds seem to just fly over my head, barely brushing me instead of to the right or with "more" force, is that makes any sense.. A couple hit the top of my head. Is this a pretty common deal with the Gen 4?

I've had this happen a few times myself with my gen 4 19 . Most came down on my head strangely enough.

I had this problem for the first 100 rounds with my Gen4 G19, but after that, it started sending empties 8-10' to my right.

I recall having a few empties hit me on the head or on the arms. I was using WWB 9mm in my G19, "03" recoil spring.

I had that problem ocasonially with my G17 with the older unmarked spring. Since changing the spring to the 012 the empties fly a good 9-10ft and have a nice arch while flying through the air.
