| Can Glock 17s and 19s handle +P+ loads? |
| certainly, i wouldn't advise shooting cases of the +P+ variety. i have run a couple boxes down the barrel of my Glock 19 over the years (mostly to expel older ammo that i have been carrying for awhile) without any hint of an issue. a steady diet may bring trouble, but if it's your carry ammo don't sweat it. |

Quoted: Quoted: If you feel you need a +P+ load for your 9mm what you may really need is to move up to a 40cal. 40 cal............ for federal agents who can't handle real hand gun rounds! I own 357mag, 40s, 45s, and 10mm so restrict your stupid comments to the Bear Pit. To the OP, I still say if you feel the need to go to a 9mm+P+ then you should seriously consider a larger caliber. The recoil of a 9mm+P+ is snappier than a 40cal in the same platform and near the same bullet weight. |

If I could afford to shoot a steady diet of the +P+ loads I would have no problem shooting cases of them out of my G-19 and G-26. Glocks are tough, especially the 9mm variants.
I've probably got 500 Winchester Ranger 127gr. +P+ rounds through my G19 and it shows no abnormal wear. |
