I just sold my HK45 and bought a Gen 4 Glock 17.

How is it that a cheap, ugly, and less comfortable gun allows me to shoot SO much better?

I don't even have to try and I can group better than any other brand pistol I've ever shot.  The dark side is great!

Obligatory crappy phone pic:

Same here.  The crazy thing was I shot even better once I went to a 3.5 connector.  Nice gat.

I shoot my Glocks much faster than my HK, too.

Nice gun.

Be careful, it is infectious... soon you'll want a 26 for carry and a 21 just because..

Add a Match Grade Slide Lock from TRGraham and your groups will tighten up even more. Best $30 Glock improvement you can do. Get one for your G26 when you buy it. You will. You won't be able to help it.

Here's his info. [ [email protected], or call 832-695-7192. ]

BTW, welcome to the dark side.

Read about that on GlockTalk.  Always thought it was BS.  Anyone here try it?  They tend to be a bit more gullable there.

I'm not that great of a shot to begin with and it definitely had an impact. Worth every penny.

The MGSL is easy to install and de-install. My friend who told me about it did a test. He shot 1 mag with the stock Slide Lock and then swapped it out and shot 1 mag with the Match Grade. His 4" group went to 3". He wasn't convinced so he swapped it back and the group opened up.

Maybe the next time I go to the range, I'll try it as a blind test myself.

FWIW.

Great idea.

I'm gonna post a new topic on this also to see if there's any one who's tried it.

Because the .45acp makes you flinch. ;)
