will it fit on a G20 mag and will it work if I put a 10mm follower in it? |

I bought one just for this purpose. It was not a simple swap, so I gave up since I also own a G21. There was a thread on here about someone making the necessary mods for it to work, but he never followed up with an AAR after he took it out to try it at the range. The inside of a G20 mag is narrower than the G21 mag. You have to slightly crush the spring so the coils don't rub on the walls of the mag. The G20 follower attaches differently to the spring compared to a G21, so you have to grind off the spring to make it work. Bottom line - is it a simple swap? No. Can you make it work with some creativity, a dremel, and a vise? Probably. But unverified AFAIK. |
