I noticed when shooting today that my Surefire X300 has some back and forth play when on my 17. Im using the U latch plate and made sure all of the screws are tight. Any ideas?

Put some masking tape around the part that locks into the slot on the glock rail.
Works like a charm! I've had it happen on mine too, its very common.

The play is coming from the U locking plate. I can move it back and forth with my fingers when its not mounted on the pistol. I threw some blue painters tape on it and its on there tight now. I have a email in to Surefire to make sure its normal.
