I've owned my G36 for 6-7years and have had no troubles after thousands of rounds. The problem i'm having is that when i find a company that specializes in glock aftermarket parts they have very little when it comes to the model 36. They will say something like this"this part is available in all model glocks except model 36!" WTF!!!! Is this gun that unpopular or what?

yeah, pretty much. I've learned to go without for most things concerning my 36. otherwise, it depends on what product you're looking for. keep in mind, many accessories such as holsters designed for the G19 will fit the G36, since they are just about the same size.

Then what do you need aftermarket mods for?

What is it that you're needing so badly for said pistol, if I may ask?

Holsters, lights, sights, grips, barrels, etc...

You can't think of anything one might buy to go with a handgun?  That's not a very effective response, or selling point.

He didn't say holsters or lights, he said "mods". Why would I buy an aftermarket part to replace a perfectly functioning one? I see it all the time in the Glock forum, "I want to replace my Glock factory 3.5# connector with a Ghost 3.5# connector." Why? They're the same fucking thing! Hell, I think a great selling point is simply that a gun works the way it is. No other modifications required.

And I see plenty of holsters and sights for the G36.

So what exactly is the OP needing, I was just asking.

It was just my observation looking through different magazines/parts books. The only thing i would like to get is an aftermarket barrell so i can shoot lead bullets. One barrell maker,i believe was kkm, made every glock barrell except the 36! The last time i had my gun apart cleaning it, the barrell didnt look so special that i would'nt think somebody would have a hard time duplicating it !Like i said before i love the 36, just wish the aftermarket was a little more friendlier towards it.

I see.

What we need here is some more input from those who have experience with both the G36 and G30...........see, a while back it was discussed that a G36 top half can run on a G30 frame, and vice/versa.

So I'm wondering...........I have no idea, but maybe a G30 barrel would run in a G36?  Therefore an aftermarket G30 barrel would do?

I have no idea per se, just speculation based on the G30/G36 discussion that was had here some time ago...........just grasping at straws, tryin' ta help.
