I'm thinking about selling my 35 barrel and frame to help fund a 23XL.  The dust cover and conversion barrel will cost me $179.90 excluding shipping.  The only 2 GLOCKs I currently have are the 23 and 35.  I love the long barrel and sight radius but prefer the grip of the 23.  I kind of want to try IDPA in the future and I'm pretty sure I can't use the XL but figure the 23 will do just fine.  Let's hear the comments, questions and epinions.
Here's my mock-up.

Flame suit on.

Take the 35 and cut the frame/grip to the size of the 23.  There is no reason you can't and it is better than having the gap on the dust cover of the 23 frame with the 35 slide mounted.  It's plastic!  Many have done this with simple tools and/or a belt sander!

It's a  Talon Grip.  It's my favorite of the ones I've tried but the middle finger part has come loose on a couple of them.  Could be the way I hold it or I didn't get it clean enough.  I dunno.
