Looking for "techniques" for carry.  Do most of you wear large jacket, shirts for consealment?  I hate the thought of the fanny pack style holster, but summer is coming.  Is it ok to wear something that may give a glimpse of your weapon or is that a true no-no?

I don't think allowing a "glimpse" of the gun is a hot idea. I can see a store clerk calling the cops, or if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time you are going to be the first one shot or disarmed during a robbery.

Inside the waist band with a shirt over is how I carry in the summer or with a "tuckable" holster.

I have never used a fanny pack. I think they would annoy me. Besides where I live I don't see a lot of men carrying them. I think they scream "GUN."

Even though, my permit won't be done processing for a few more weeks, I have gone on a buying spree of holsters for CC.  I bought a couple of in the pants types, but I'm not sure I like them much.  My 92fs seems awfully big for that.  My Tomcat works better.  I bought a pocket holster for my tomcat.  I think it will work wonderfully for summer shorts and T-shirt weather.  My favorite is a shoulder harness with double mag pouch, by mil-tech, for my 92fs.  But, that requires a jacket, light or heavy.  I also have a galco PLE paddle for the 92, but that requires a longer jacket.
