I'm looking for recommendations for a holster for an XD9 sub-compact.  I think for my frame, 6'3" 215#, an inside the waistband would work well.  I'm open to any other suggestions, though as this will be my first carry gun (taking my CHL class in a few weeks).  It gets hot here in the DFW area, so I need something that will work easily with shorts and a t shirt.  Thanks in advance for any help.

I carry a full size M&P .40 and occasionally, an M&P 9c in a horsehide Crossbreed Super Tuck wearing a T shirt and shorts in the Florida heat and humidity.

It works well for me.

Look at Rocker Man Holsters(RM holsters). Their Low Rider model is fantastic.

If it get hot and humid in your area then the Horsehide Supertuck would be great.

I carry a 1911 in a Sparks VM2 or a M&P 9mm in a TT Gunleather IWB holster.

I carry a full size XDm9 and I use the Crossbreed Supertuck. I am soon gonna get one for a 1911, too.

VERY comfortable holster. Mine isn't the horsehide, they say that's even better.
