I was thinking about getting an MTAC but I hate kydex clips they always break, for current owners how they holding up?

4 months of near daily carry, 12-16 hours a day, never had a hint that one might break.

almost 2 (or is it 1  1/2 years), installed on my Raven now...top notch, no signs of stress/tears, 1000 times better than the old ones

After I adjusted mine the way I like it (pretty high ride, first and second holes at an angle) I cut off the excess clip at the bottom to the next hole. It keeps them from jabbing me in the hip when seated. Haven't seen any wear like they wanted to break.

I have a Raven ACR and love it but the clps just snapped on both sides, They are the best company I have ever dealt with as far as replacment parts at no charge but the leather backing on the MTAC looks a little more comfy.

I have 2 MTACs and 1 CTAC. Nothing broken.

I think it just might be the position  the Raven ACR is carried I have had their phantom for close to a year with no clip issues.

The new CTAC/MTAC clips are not Kydex, they are injection molded polymer and have a life expectancy of 10,000,000 flexes without failure.

If you don't want kydex clips, get a Crossbreed.

Can't recall when I got my first MTAC, well over a year ago - no issues and I carry it daily.  I own 3 of the Minotaur MTACs now with no issues on any of them.



Prior to that I had Comp-tac Infidels...never had an issue with them either *shrug*
