Well congrats.  Welcome to the club!  Yours in PA are yellow, eh?  Interesting...........................

Hell, just carry that P95.  Great, solid pistol.  Easily carryable and concealable with the right holster/attire.

Congrats, man.  Yes, we care.

I carry an XD9sc and I'm very happy with it.  Lots of folks love their .40s too.

No, the card he received from the Sheriff’s Office telling him to come and get it was yellow, mine was white.

The “License To Carry Firearms” will be white paper - probably.

In PA it is not a State Form but left to the County Sheriff or, in Philadelphia, the Chief of Police.

A funny PA quirk (soon to be fixed we hope) is that you cannot carry a loaded firearm in an ATV… No exceptions here, no ’ya but’s’ no discussion no way to outsmart it!

It got written that way and slipped through the cracks.  Legislation was introduced to fix it.

Exactly, the "yellow card" is just telling me I was approved and now I have to take my $25 down to the Sherrif's office and pick up my permit.

Wow!

Wife & went in to renew last week - $25 each Cash or MO, pay first!

Due to backlog all we left with is a receipt and a promise from the Sheriff that as long as you have the receipt, there will be no expiration of your current License due to backlog. Or should we call that The Obamcklog

Yes bt you have to realize we are in PA the land of antiquated laws.  Here we have to buy beer at "beer distributors" and by the case only god forbid you would want a 6-pack and liquor and wine has to be bought at state stores.  There are millions of antiquated laws we have that they would NEVER consider changing.

They are quite busy right now at the Sheriff's Office in Allegheny County. It took them a month to process my renewal but I too got the happy little yellow card in the mail.

Now let's see how long my Utah permit takes, hopefully I will see it by August.

Picked up the card today and I have to say the guy at the office is a GREAT photographer.  I was wearing a hat that day and they made me take it off LOL.  I could care less what I look like but it was one of THOSE ID photos.

+1
Be glad you got yours.
They are giving my mom trouble because her fingerprints have worn off She never has done anything wrong. Just years on a cash register.
They have to investigate her some other way. She has been waiting since december

Huh, no fingerprints here.  All I had to do here was fill out a form and show my ID.  And of course wait 3 weeks.

PA is one of those state with no finger prints.  I got my LTCF back in Feb. and am glad I did.  The white paper with no picture and not laminated was all I got but I guess it depends on the county you live in. Congrats to ya.

I don't have any experience with the P95, but the XD is a fine weapon if you go that route.
