Did you find yourself pulling at your cover garment a lot? A lot of new CCW holders tend to do this, untill they're used to having a pistol on them.

Yep, the paranoia will go away too, not everyone is looking at you!

Sometimes I think my dick could be sticking out my lower back and no one would notice. My wife never has a clue where my CCW is. One time when we were out shopping she reached to grab my lower back, strong side to tell me something, and instead touched my CCW - she said the look on my face when I turned around to see who it was there was scary.

Consider yourself lucky.  I keep being told mine will jump out of the holster and eat a kitten.

I actually did, mainly because I was getting in and out of the car. I was wearing a sweatshirt, and I didn't even bother to look at myself in the mirror before I left. But when I was at the sandwich place, I looked down at my side just to make sure I wasn't printing. Even if I were printing no one would notice. My roommate didn't even notice. I don't remember if I told him that I got my CHL yet.

Thanks; it feels good to carry.

I'll never forget my first time carrying.  I stop at a gas station on my way to work and as I was paying for a coffee in came a cop.   At first I got super nervous and then realized that everything I was doing was totally legal.  Now it doesn't even phase me.

after a while you feel it's as natural as carrying your wallet and keys.

People don't notice printing.

After a while it will feel weird if you aren't carrying.

I feel naked if I do not have my wallet, keys, knife, and GUN!

Although the more you carry the less you will fidget with your clothes, remember that when you make certain movements that may expose a gun more often than walking around. For example, you are at a store and you crouch down your gun might get exposed; check your shirt because they tend to get caught on the grips. Most people fix their shirt after crouching down so it looks natural.

I carried for the first time 2 days ago when I received my CCW.  Nothing happened, and my brother suggested that even if I printed a little, people would just think it was a cell phone.
It feels good...

They are all lying to you.  Everyone was staring at you and everyone knew you had a gun on you.  They made you the moment you walked out your front door.  Everyone was staring at you and you were printing.

(Just trying to increase that paranoia that many have on their first few days carrying. )

Or a Peanut Butter milkshake?

I've been carrying for almost two years and I still check my shirt every so often when I'm in public.
