Well,

Three weeks ago I put in an order for a Threat Solutions Appendix Carry holster for my J Frame....

Linky to what was ordered........

Got an email today that he is way, way, way backed up.  Like 6 months.
I'm seriously considering leaving the order open as I really like the layout of the rig (clip in front of the cylinder, positioning the gun at 2-2:30, canted to the rear) but I need something else before next spring, so................

Any ideas on something similar?
My desires are this;

Some decent level of retention - I have a Don Hume IWB but IMO not enough of the gun is in the holster and it rides to high for me to feel 100% that it won't work loose.

Offset clip - Clips over the cylinder boggle my mind, it puts more girth right at the thickest part of the gun -

A secure clip - I love Comp-Tac's paddles but the one IWB I had from them had the "standard" clip and as often as not that would slip right over the belt and out with the gun.

So, in short, what I want, is what I ordered

Any ideas for something I could actually get within 4-6 weeks?

Try giving the guys at Raven concealment a call. I know they are really busy but they might just be able to custom make you what you want in a more reasonable time frame.

+1 for Raven Concealment!

I received my Raven Concealment Appedix carry holster last week and so far I'm very happy with it.

It's the most comfortable appendix holster I've used to date.  I als really like the way Raven molds ther sweat guard, it makes it very easy to aquire a good grip on the gun.

I wore it fo about 16 hours last Saturday and when I took my sons to watch Clone Wars I almost for got I was wearing it.

The Raven appendix holster has off-set clips that have excellent grip on the belt.  With any kydex clips you really need to make sure you wearing a belt designed to carry a gun.  I use Wilderness Instructor belts and have had excellent results with them for the past 8 years.

I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

Thanks for the tip, I checked them out.

Does it bug you that there are two clips?  Ie, on off a bit of a PIA vs a single attachment point?

Comp-Tac 2 o'clock? I know the hurrican slowed them down a bit.

Not at all.  I've had appendix holsters with one attachment point and they were more likely to move around on the belt and would print slightly more through the cover clothing.

The the secound attachment point on the Raven appendix holster keeps the grip closer to you body so it conceals better.   BTW, it doesn't effect the ability to get a good grip on the gun during the drawstroke.
