Im traveling to florida on vacation i havent got my ccw yet but i was wondering if i could have it loaded in my cars console?

You can have it loaded and inside your car as long as it is "securely encased."  "Securely encased" is generally taken to mean that whatever contains the firearm has some kind of mechanism that closes it "securely."  This could be the latch or the zipper on a gun case, or the latch on your console compartment.

It does not to be locked, and there is no three step rule, or two step rule, or one step rule, or any step rule.  Dancing is not involved.  The console in my car doesn't have a latch, so it is not secure.  The glove compartment has a latch, so it is considered secure.

It can also be read to mean, in a holster, between the seats or in the door pocket, with the retention strap fastened.

You probably run less risk of being hassled though, if it is in the console or glovebox.
