im considering changing my carry from da/sa to glock.  the trigger is all glock parts but polished and approx 4lbs. i know alot of people carry 45's in single action around this lbs. what are the thoughts, considerations in court? anyone have first hand experience with this?

If the trigger you like functions properly and well, then go for it. I believe the greatest risk of dealing with the trigger being part of a court trial would be from an ND.

I would recommend changing that back to a completely stock handgun.  If it comes up in court after a shooting that you 'modified' your gun, it might make/break your case.  I carry nothing but completely stock handguns, with the addition of night sights.  I have considered adopting a heavy trigger as well.

I keep my trigger pulls at factor weight. I do however only buy a pistol with a trigger I like and that includes how heavy the trigger pull is. I have 2 sigs with DA/SA instead of the DAK because the sig DAK is 6.5 pounds. I think 6.5 pounds is too heavy for every trigger pull. I would like it if the DAK was 4.5.

The DA/SA first rigger pull is heavy then all other shots in a sig are 4lbs.
