I heard the holster Tom Cruise used to carry the H&K in Collateral was a CTAC.

I don't have that DVD with me now so I can't check it now...

I prefer kydex on plastic pistols (summer).  Leather on steel (winter).  Just my taste.

I bought an Uncle Mike's Kydex IWB holster along with my USPc .45, and don't like it at all.  OWB Kydex holsters are good to go in my book, but this holster in particular will definitely be replaced soon.

I have three problems with this particular holster.

#1, it is uncomfortable to wear because  the lip of the holster rides low in my pants, digging into the skin above my hips.

#2, I have difficulty reholstering the weapon consistently despite practice, again because it rides so low.

#3, the clip that grips the belt on the outside of the pants does not perform this function well.  It has a tendency to work its way up and nearly off of my belt completely.

So, I am looking for a replacement.

I carried my HK P2000 in a DeSantis "Cozy Partner" IWB.  For $50, it was a great, comfortable holster.

Hey Nemesis,  This could be your lucky day.  If you don't want to wait 16 weeks for your Milt Sparks to come in, I have a brand new one still in original wrapping that just came today (3-24-06) on UPS.  Last December I bought a new H&K USP-C 45.  I wanted a VM ll and 2 S-4C's from Milt Sparks.  So I called Sparks and ordered them.  They said 16 to 18 weeks.  I said ok.  It seemed to long to wait.  So I started looking at alternatives, and found it all at Lightning ARMS.   I ordered from them and was here in three days.  I forgot to cancel the order from Sparks.  Well it showed up today.  What a surprise.  I will send you an e-mail as well.  Let me know if I can help you out.  If not, I will offer the up on AR15com.  Price is as follows:

VM ll (USP-C 45)   $97.50
S-4C (2)   $45 x2    90.00
Total                        $187.50

I will ship for free.
Thanks
