Anyone else have an issue with their pocket pistol wearing out the denim on the front of their jeans, leaving an outline of the gun? Any way to avoid this?

I would change to a different holster.
I use recluse pocket holster for my body guard and it just looks like the outline of my pockets |

Seems like any item in front pocket of blue jeans wears down so it's visible over time. An employee always wears jeans, and you can tell exactly where his phone rides all day.
My jeans, same issue with flashlight and phone. I rarely wear jeans, but even on khaki colored pants, pants that last a while start to show what is where, just due to dirt working into the fibers over time, no matter how many times I wash my favorite pair of shorts that I've had since high school, it is still obvious where my old Motorola Razr rode. |

I use a Recluse OS Solo, and it prints in a rectangle shape, not a pistol shape. As a bonus, the way it's designed means it won't accidentally come out of your pocket while you're drawing. My Nemesis spends most of its time in the holster box. Note I usually wear cargo pants - jeans will probably cause the Recluse leather to mold somewhat to your pistol, but it's still a real good bet. |
