How do you guys(and gals) carry your hh light? I carry a weaponlight daily too, but always have a handheld clipped in my left rear pocket. I find it very natural for me to reach back and pluck it out for an easy icepick grip, but it leaves me carrying a smaller light so that it isn't as uncomfortable in my pocket when sitting.
For reference I carry a folder clipped in my right front pocket, a KeyBar clipped in my left front pocket and wallet in the right rear. What are the rest of you carrying, and where? |

My primary handgun, Glock 17.4 currently
rides at 3:00 iwb. I carry that about 95% of the time in the last few months. (Other full size handguns prior to getting my RMR'd 17.4 up to speed). I always carry my backup and "deep cover" NAA 22 mag Pug, which always rides in the carpenters pocket on my right thigh. I always carry some version of an 18650 powered handheld light in the carpenters pocket on my left thigh. Large folder and cash & CC's, right front pocket. Keys, chap stick, and bic lighter left front pocket. ( I am a non-smoker), wallet right back pocket. Spare 17.4 mag in my back left pocket while walking, left front pocket while driving. Phone, "other" keys, backup AA light, Sharpie, and Advil tube in a pouch at my 2:00. My EDC for years. John |
| I carry a single AA Solar Force Z2 in my left front pocket with a spare mag for the G42, which is in a Recluse pocket holster in right front cargo pocket of my nylon shorts... if I go somewhere that I'm not allowed to carry under Florida law, a Solar Force P60 size L2M with an XP-G module matched to the voltage of the 18650... I like the Z2 as the bright setting comes on first.. the XP-G module is a smaller die size than an XML2 and newer, but it is in the focal point and seriously bright |
| Fenix PD35 clipped in left front pocket with cell phone in same pocket. Knife clipped in right front pocket, spare mag on belt OWB at 9 o'clock, pistol AIWB, or IWB at 3:30. Keys, lighter, and fisher space pen also in right front pocket, wallet right rear pocket, cigarettes right cargo pocket, and glasses wipe left cargo pocket. |

Thanks for all the replies, general consensus is about what I thought it would be- light in left front pocket for most.
I like the KeyBar for its simplicity, but it does take up real estate clipped into my left pocket. I may re-evaluate how I carry my keys in the future. |

I carry a Thrunite Ti5 AAA in my left rear pocket. It has a great firefly mode that I use for finding steps in the dark, camera controls for nighttime photography, etc. So far I haven't needed more light than the brightest mode offers.
An AA or lithium battery light could be more capable, but the Ti5 is solidly able to meet my needs, and it's compact and light. |

I carry a surefire in my left rear pocket as well. Since Im right handed I carry a knife in my front left pocket for retension of my carry gun if it.gets that bad. All my jeans have a hole in the rear pocket where the bezel has worn through ![]() I have the same problem. I actually think it's how i lost my light. I usually carry a nitecore P12 ...until I lost it. Been just a Fenix E12 as of last. |

I have read that in reviews, and wondered if it was actually a common problem. That being said, would you still recommend it as a daily carry light? |

Surefire G2X or Streamlight PT2L in left rear or left front pocket. For you guys that are carrying the G2X or something similar, what kind of clip are you running or is it just loose in your pocket? Mine(g2x) doesn't have a clip, and I was looking in to the Thyrm but I don't know how comfortable it would be to sit on. |

Absolutely, I actually ordered another one after looking at several other lights. I'm a big fan of the 18650's and i use my lights too much to pay for cr123's. I almost did buy a Surefire g2 and some rechargeable cr123's though. |

It stays vertical at least 80% of the time, but my pockets aren't too big. 5'7", 165lbs, 32-30 pants size. |

The ring part is above the clip, it kinda sticks out of the top of the pocket. The ring is also 180° from the clip, and the location is fixed. I can't help you with the sitting on it part, as I put it in my front pocket. Hope that is at least semi helpful. ETA: all edges are nicely rounded and smooth, it's not pokey at all. |
