Is it just me or does anyone else get small holes in their shirts when covering and IWB holster? I have used three different brands and started noticing small holes in my shirts from the metal clips. I guess they are "cutting" through the shirts when I bump into things, sit down and catch chairs, seat belt latch that you click into, etc... Going to order some nylon clips, maybe even the velcro clips or leather? Just wanted to see if I was alone in this, if there are other "solutions", etc.
Thanks! |

I haven't had the clip bore holes into my shirts, but the sights do. I haven't found a way to combat this yet other than buying heavier cotton shirts. |

The Remington R51 had that part right. Looks goofy, but solved a comfort issue as well as those small holes. |
| Had the same issue. I went to alien gear for their plastic clips. In the past i would use patches on the inside to give the clips something else to wear through before my shirt. The only downside was it was pretty evident where the patch was so it wasnt that great. |

It's a good idea to check the edges of the metal clips by running your finger over them. If they feel at all sharp or rough, they need to be filed and sanded smooth.
I have had to do this on both of my Crossbreed holsters. I use a mini file and a piece of 320 grit emory paper. So far, only the edge at the end of the belt hook (the part that is bent outward below the belt) has needed the treatment. |
