I did a search and didn't find much. How does everyone feel about ccw insurance? I'm a member of a local 2nd Amendment org and we have monthly meetings and this month some of our members were talking about their plans. They go through U.s Concealed Carry for their insurance. The prices seen reasonable. But doing a google search brought up some negative comments from about 4 years back.

Maybe things have gotten better?
This is much less compared to the NRA program.

I did a lot of research and I went with CCWSafe.  No limit on how much they'll spend to defend you.

I think everyone should have some kind of insurance.  A friend of mine, who was a former Suffolk County, NY ADA told me about the DA's attitude towards armed self-defense.  "If you ever shoot someone, even legitimate self defense, your life, as you know it, is over."  Meaning they would pull out all the stops - both criminal and civil - to go after you.  Even if you're exonerated, you'd be bankrupted by the legal defense costs.

Patroit Legal for me ......seems like low cost insurance.  Like most insurance you never no how it really will work until you need it

I use US Law Shield. They also did my NFA Trust. I would definitely recommend them.

US / TX Law shield is by far the best out there. It's not a reimbursement like others that are out there.  They cover you criminally and civilly.  There's no cap on the hours or amount they'll spend to defend you.  They also have a bail bond / expert witness program.

Another great feature is you can call anytime during normal business hours and ask any legal question.  You get to talk to an attorney too. Not a paralegal or secretary.

We're really big fans of them.
