This might be a stupid question, but I have recently added an M&P40 to my arsenal and have been carrying it more lately because it seems to fit a little better than my G19 and prints less.  (I know that doesnt seem to make sense since its a larger frame and all...)  I currently carry IWB at about 4:00-4:30 using just a simple paddle holster.  I am in the market for a nice, quality holster that would work for both guns (the M&P and the G19) if something like that exists?  Im open to recommendations.
Would you guys say thats just a terrible idea and I just need to settle on one to carry all the time or stop being such a cheap ass and buy two holsters or what?
Sorry for my ignorance.

Look at CompTac.  Some of their holsters use removable kydex bodies.  You could purchase the holster for one model and then an additional body for your second firearm of choice.

Give Joe at 3Speedholster.com a call.

Tell him what you are wanting to do.  He will make what you need and let him know that you will be turning the holster to the hip position from time to time.

I use a customized version of his holster all the time.  I can spin it from the 12:00 to a side carry position any time I wish.

Mine carries both the M&P 9c and an Airweight J-Frame interchangeably.

There isn't any reason that your two similar guns wouldn't work in the same holster.

Will do.  Thanks for the suggestion!
It would also be nice to be able to use it to open carry as well.  Here in Iowa we can do either, so it would be nice from time to time...
