My son finally got a break to be able to make telephone calls from Army Basic Training - Ft Sill, OK.
They did their qualifications last week. He made Expert on the first day.  Sweeeeet! His Great Granddads, WWII vets, Granddads Korea and Vietnam, would have been proud! Wish they were around to see him now.
Anyway, I haven't seen as big of a grin on his Momma since he left. Life is good. Now, maybe she will relax. Think I'll give her a back rub....  (Dad is pretty damn proud too!)
