Very nice, sir. My 5.56mm version is up for sale down here in the States - only for sale I know of. I hope there will be a time soon when those pinned magazines of yours are all junked for standard capacity version.

Also in a SHTF: you can "unpin" a Vz58 .223 magazine with a butter knife by removing the bolt hold open from your follower

CZ/CSA vz. 58. with folding stock. -Bonesteel Arms handguard set -EOTech EXPS3-0 in tan -FAB Defense 58 grip in OD -Magpul AFG2 in OD -Streamlight TR-1S. -reproduction vz.52/58 sling (for now). This gun will get a paint job soon in some sort of camo. Honestly I don't like the black look on this gun. I though about painting it a "correct" gray color. But I wanna mess with some camo. I'll also eventually add an FSB that has a bayonet lug. And probably attach (permanently of course) a muzzle device. |

Looks like a VZ58 carried by a militant in a technical in this thread.

He's in Canada.
The vz. 58 or as they call it, the cz(ed) 858 is their AK. They have things there that aren't readily or remotely available here. At least not right now. |

Especially the monolithic/continuous upper half. Rechamber in 5.56 and call it good? Would this have been cheaper than CZ 805? Or was this supposed to just be for Slovaks so they could hold off on procuring anything else? |

Its Slovakian project to modernize vz.58, we (more precisly CZ-UB) were allready testing the CZ 805 that time. It never evolved into production. And price vise? Yeah, anything would be cheaper than CZ 805, but ministr of defence likes to vaste money.. |

Yeah, no offense but I've been underwhelmed on CZ 805 from what I've read, considering what it is costing you guys. But I have never and will not likely see one in person. FB Radom's MSBS looks really nice though. |
