Does the AFG help with anything? Magpul has one for about $30. It seems it would be easier to hold the quad rail (with covers).

i have one on mine, i think it's easier to hold the gun and more comfortable as well.  had a vertical grip, but it just got in the way and i didnt even use it half the time

I run the larger AFG1 on two AR's, and really like them, but don't run one an AK, as I don't run rails on them. I admit to wantin gto though. You can get more feedback on the AFG1 and AFG2 on the AR side of the forum. There are also You Tube videos.

I've got a Strike Industries Cobra fore grip on mine, my bud has a Mako (Fab Defense) PTK, and both of us are using Mako VTS finger grips. Good grips, ergonomic as hell so far, and the finger grips give good tension.

Not a fan of AFG's on pistols. I can get a better grip without one.
