| Just bought an M85 that should be in by the time the weekend's out. looking to make an SBR but this is my first AK variant and i know next to nothing about them except the research i've done on this forum and google. This is a 6 month project so i'm in no huge rush, but i am trying to figure out what all this project is going to entail. I would like to put an underfolder on it but from what i've read most of the newer M85s have the serial number in a precarious place for this to be done. I'll know 100% when i get it in whether or not fits this category. If the SN is not in the way, what kind of work load would i be looking at to make this happen? i'm guessing i'll need a drill press, but will i need a welder too? if it is in the way, are there any underfolder stocks on the market that attach differently? i've looked and cant seem to find any. any help or input would be greatly appreciated. pictures would be even better. thanks |
