Awesome, I was hoping someone would post a pic with the Magpul stock and MI forearm. Does the stock close down all the way? Could you please post some more pics with the stock folded? Also, how is the sight picture with it set up like that. I ask because the US Palm sight specific upper handguard would let the optic sit lower and I wonder if the cheekweld would still be comfortable if the optic was a little lower. Thanks, and again, freakin sweet SBR!!

I was thinking about doing something similar with a Draco.  Is it still easy to see and use the iron sights?

Here is a quick picture of the sbr with the stock folded.  It stays folded, but does not lock.  The optic sits just a little high, but if you look at the site line formed by the top of the CTR stock you will see that it is a little higher that what a original stock would be.  Lower would be nice but not essential as far as I'm concerned.  It looks like the us palm top is kind of limiting as far as what you can mount on it.  No, you can not use the iron sights with the dot attached.

Although the rails look good I don't much understand why everyone uses them for mounting optics.  There is a rail/mount that can be used in place of the rear sight and holds up well.  You can also use it with the front sight (see through) if your battery operated optic fails.  If I do run a red dot that's probably what I'll run.  I guess variety makes the world go round and to each their own!

I had seen that mount also but was concerned that it would flip around and not reindex.  Also, it limits your abiltily to add other attachments other than just a optic.  Texas weapons makes what looks like a very good replacment top cover.  To each their own.

Very nice! Seeing this makes me want to spend the $200.... and wait. I'm going to have to look into the entire "stamp" process, I'm sure it here somewhere.
