Is there anywhere I can find a sling adapter for my Draco? or does it consist of rigging up my own? Second questions is whats a good muzzle device that will reduce recoil that has the detent notch already in it?

I use this one from midway

My muzzle tip is a $12 flash hider from tapco, really works too, have no idea if it helps with recoil, but there really isnt any with no stock. But shoots out a huge fireball without a flash hider

I used the para-cord method.  Works good.  I too use the Tapco, but have a CHICOM Bulgarian copy, too.  I like both.

I like this one a lot.

No mods necessary and it's as solid as your pistol grip.

I think just about all of the brakes come with the notches already now.  Early on there were some USA made that skipped that step in the manufacturing process.  I have about four or five different styles but haven't tried them on the Draco yet.

The VM1 is a great piece of kit.  For a muzzle brake do you only care about recoil reduction?  If so the best buy would be an original AMD-65 "snake brake."  The Primary Weapons Systems Jtac-47 and FSC-47 are simply awsome but $$$.

do you have a problem with the sling hitting your hand with that one, or not giving your hand enough room to grip if you have gorilla hands
I had that mount but had sold it before ever using a while ago so never tested that

I did, but later found that I had it mounted up side down.  The hook part goes upwards.

Well, I haven't had it out to shoot since I installed it but I didn't notice anything like that shouldering it in the house. It's the same width as the reciever so I really don't even notice it's there or that it feels any different.  I don't have gorilla hands.  They're more like Chimpanzee hands so maybe I'm not qualified to answer that.    I do use a Condor single point bungee sling with two connectors. One, the  HK hook is on my AR pistol and the plain strap on the AK pistol.  I just need to trim it up a little and melt the webbing.  As you can see in this picture it's a little long yet.

Update! Just ordered the VM-1 sling adapter, it will be a nice little christmas gift to myself, along with my 5 new mags from AIM. Thanks for all the pics and advice, I think I will be happy with it.

I just got this brake from Midway, it is great.  It doesn't have the notch, but it is a 30 second fix with a dremel.

It looks like it is out of stock, but they are taking backorders.

Tried it out on my Draco yesterday, made a huge difference in recoil/barrel flip.  Pretty much comes straight back with very little barrel rise.  This is by far the best I have used, compared to the krink style brake, the slant brake, and the birdcage type.  It looks pretty awesome, too.
