They're all made by the same company.  But if you're referring to vendors who sells them......Henderson Defense (a vendor right here on Arfcom) has publicly stated that they inspect their Dracos for canted sights, etc, before shipping.  That's saying a lot, because I don't know of any other vendor who does this.  Some might handpick, if you ask them.  I asked Atlantic Firearms if they inspected their Dracos before shipping.  They said they don't have the time for something like that.

alantic told me they just dont do that, never had complaints from the ones they sell. But im willing to bet alot of people arent aware, or want to spend any waiting time sending back to century( or they just contact century and alantic has no idea)

I would pay $15 for hand pick. What could it take, 5 min max if you care. Actually they should inspect when they buy them, everyone knows about century, especially dealers. If they dont then they are lieing.
From the 4 wasr 10's ive looked at all were fucked, and the 3 draco's were fucked until I saw a good one. Thats pretty bad numbers. Not saying they all cant be fixed, but if im buying something new then I want it very close to perfect.

They specifically told me "We send out X hundred guns a day.  We don't have the time or manpower to check each gun we send out.  It wouldn't be efficient.  That sort of QC is supposed to be done at the manufacturer."  I'm paraphrasing, but that's the breakdown of what they said.

So I agree with you, take the 5 minutes to give it a once over before boxing it up.  I mean, someone has to physically handle it during the boxing/shipping process.  I assume it couldn't hurt for that person to look it over.  It's not like it needs to be done on the X-hundred guns a day that they're shipping.

Then again, I've never ran a business, so I don't know what actually goes on behind the scenes.  Even still, when there's companies like Henderson Defense, who will check them over, I think the decision is clear who to order from.
