I've read some threads about problematic Dracos-I have two, and both have functioned fine.  Am I just lucky, or are most of them OK?

I think what you will fins is the overall consensus around there is that most people will have positive experiences, but as with any firearm there are going to be a few that get a bad apple. It happens, it's happened to me with other firearms but I have 2 Dracos and they both run perfect.

Yep, think it has more to due with QC at the factory than any problem developing later with the gun. Since the importer (CAI) and the dealers don't really open each box and inspect each gun, some poor quality ones slip by to us. Only when we complain does it become apparent that some left the factory in a little less than ideal shape. As halflife said, I think most are in good shape and won't be a problem. I don't think the frequency of problems is as high as it seems to be for some of the other builds out there.

Does serial # prefix make a difference in quality?   Mine are DR-79## and DR-76##

Mine cycles fine. Granted it doesn't have many rounds through it, but it hasn't had any problems.

I think it is more the individual firearm vs a number range.  I had one with very bad rear sight block cant.  Sent it back and got a perfect one from the same batch Classic had pulled the first one from.

Luck of the draw more than anything I think.

About 300 rounds thru the first range visit. No problems.  It had the G2 trigger group from the importer.
