Hey guys, I'm really looking at getting an AES-10B, partly because of how awesome the Romy RPK's looked in Afghanistan.
What type of accuracy are you getting from the 7.62x39's? How about the 5.45's? PLEASE post pictures if you get some, I want/need some more convincing about buying one of these beasts. |

My two will do about 3" @ 100 yards with Wolf/Uly/Golden Tiger. Groups will expand a wee bit (to about 3.5") and get a a few fliers using the bipod.
This seems to be about the norm from most people, a few get 2MOA shooters, but that's more to the rare side. However most seem to be able to do 3", ain't really seen none that were terrible shooters. Note: All of this is 7.62, I never seena 5.45 RPK in person and don't know anyone who has one. |

I have two. A kit built Yugo M72 with a basicly new Yugo barrel. It will do 2 MOA off the bi-pod. My 10B will get close to 2.5 MOA with a scope mounted.
Both have very good tuned triggers and I shoot irons a lot...which most folks dont do well and their rifles get blamed for it. I love the RPK's, which is funny because i literally had no use for them until I bought one. Fun to shoot, pretty accurate, and also a pretty handy rifle to have along with a pile of 40 round mags when the lights go out. |

it's very the rifle and always the AMMO.
get better ammo if you want better accuracy. shits and giggles, get the Hornady or hell the Lapua..... groups will shrink. Also ultimak for the front handguards.....stops the barrel whips and messes with the harmonics andtons of people state it helps with accuracy. |
